Not into celebrating Easter? Still deciding how to spend the long weekend? Well, we have a pretty good option in mind for you. Local favourites Bite Club, Hoppetosse and Badeschiff are teaming up with Sing Blackbird and We Make Party! to present a special event – Big Easter Weekend! This weekend will have all the bases covered – food trucks (and lots of them), vintage clothing, vinyl – just in time for Record Store Day, live music, nail art, and ice cream sandwiches (!) plus, the seasonal opening of Badeschiff itself. Needless to say this is not to be missed. Entry is possible via Badeschiff or Hoppetosse and will cost €2 each – children enter for free.

 Emu Pizza : Brand new truck with a handmade clay wood-fired oven from England, Emu Pizza do proper traditional Neapolitan pizza with buffalo mozzarella, San Marzano toms and an option of ‘Nduja sausage
Hello Good Pie : Fresh from feeding the St. Patrick’s Day hordes, our favourite Irish pie master returns with a classic filling of steak and Guinness, or herby wild mushroom
 Bunsmobile : The big yellow truck (plus Victor the Jack Russell) will be serving up their classic cheeseburger – freshly ground chuck, their custom buns and molten cheddar
Mogg & Melzer : All we need to say about this Mitte joint is what the New York Times’ food critic Pete Wells said recently about their pastrami on rye which ‘only a handful of New York delis can match’
Zwei Dicke Bären: Two inspired bakers making the softest, crumbliest cookies teamed up with Mos Eisley to produce the wonder that is an ice cream sandwich
Taco Kween : Our resident Mexican stall make their own GM-free corn tortillas for tacos topped with braised pork in annato, roast pineapple or fish in a Basque pepper sauce
Heisser Hobel : Bergkäse produced by chef Florian’s parents in Bavaria is the key ingredient to their velvety Spätzle which won ‘Best Overseas Trader’ at the 2013 European Street Food Awards
 Maria Maria Arepas : Gluten- free Colombian cornbreads are freshly griddled and filled with ‘carne mechada’ (braised beef), Carribean pulled pork with mango salsa, cheese and chipotle or the classic ‘Just Guac!’
PIC NIC 34i : Gianni will be grilling Arrosticini – a classic Abruzzo streetfood of mutton skewers and fresh-grilled piadinas filled with Sicilian cream cheese, pesto and sausage
